Our Organization
CEUIMEUI Employees Staff Association Inc is a 501(c)(5) labor organization based in Plantsville, Connecticut. We represent and support our staff members — employees who form the backbone of our organization and serve working families across the state.
CEUIMEUI is a staff association — an organization formed specifically to serve the professional interests, workplace needs, and collective well-being of our members. We focus on unity, professional advocacy, and dedicated service to every staff employee in our community.
Our History
Our organization was established in 1970, reflecting a long-standing commitment to Connecticut's labor community. In March 2010, the Internal Revenue Service granted CEUIMEUI unconditional tax-exempt status as a labor organization under Section 501(c)(5) of the Internal Revenue Code.
For more than five decades, we have operated from our mailing address at 774 Prospect St, Plantsville, CT 06479, serving staff members across Hartford County and the state of Connecticut.

As a staff association, our role is distinct and focused. We unite staff employees, provide professional advocacy, deliver dedicated internal service, and maintain full compliance with federal regulations — including annual Form 990-N filings with the IRS.
Our official seal — featuring the infinity symbol, community figures, an open book, and a gear — reflects our enduring commitment to knowledge, labor, and collective strength. Our motto, Unity · Service · Advocacy, appears on that seal and guides our work every day.
